Lake Placid Youth Football


Starting Saturday May 6th 9-11 am we will start conditioning for our kids. We encourage Football and Cheer to participate as these conditioning hours will count towards your mandatory 10 hours in order to qualify for issuing pads and on the field play. Parents if you are registering your child, you will need the following:

1.) Your Payment:
2.) A current 2017 physical. If the 2016 has not expired, it will be honored until it's expiration date. But you will need to have a valid physical on file all season or your child will be ineligible for participation.
3.) A copy of your child's birth certificate(no original copies will be kept)
4.) All id and medical release forms must be filled out fully, properly, and must be notarized. Senior players ages 13-15 that are registering must have all of the above plus a copy of your Report card showing proper place of grade. You may not turn 16 in the 2017 calendar year. No High School players will be allowed to sign up or play.  

All Parents will be required to sign an equipment form prior to your child receiving his or her Football or Cheer equipment. Parents or Guardians will be responsible and liable for all lost, stolen, or intentionally or irresponsibly damaged Football or Cheer equipment. That form will be notarized and included in your child's registration packet! Starting June 26th at 5:30 pm, we will start our first official day of practice for the fall season. All coaches wishing to come out and teach and or mentor this passionate group of kids are required to submit a mandatory background check that they must clear prior to coaching or volunteering. All info must be done no later than July 1 2016. The cost of the background checks are $38. Once you have been cleared to coach or volunteer, you will have to take a Flag or tackle certification course/class that is also mandatory prior to coaching as well. The cost for that will be $5 with the approved code that will furnished to you once you have been cleared to coach/volunteer via back ground check. No one will be allowed on the field to participate until you have complied with these terms stated above!
