Lake Placid Youth Football offers cheerleading for youth ages 5 - 13.  The cheerleading squads travel with the football teams to all home and away contests.  The older cheerleaders also perform at a cheerleading competition in Ft. Myers in October.  The cheerleaders normally practice 3-4 days per week during the season.  Practice will start on August 2, 2010 at 5:30 PM at the Lake June Complex.  Cheerleading follows the same age matrix as the football teams:
